I LOVE LUSH and so does so many other people! I was surfing the web and these are some of the comments I found.

The name says it all...Lush is decadent and fabulous. This store is truly original. They carry hand made soaps, hair products, lotions, and more. When you walk in, you are hit with a mix of intoxifying aromas. One of my favorite products is the Lush shampoo bar which looks like a soap bar, but lathers into a shampoo that lasts for 20+ washes! It also has a cute little metal case, which makes it perfect for travel. All the Lush products are very rich and use lots of natural extracts and fragrances. The personal touch is also a plus. Each product is marked with the name of the person that made it and gives you a "use by" date. This place is great for gifts or a little self-pampering!

Lush is so different from your typical soap store. They have tons of kinds of different bath items, and most of them are the size and shape of a tennis ball. they all are made of different colors, and some are more powdery than others. Lush also have explanations of which soaps do what - for example, they have this black soap that is supposed to be really good for your acne. Who ever named the soaps ”bath bombs” is a genius.

Yes, the smell is overpowering, but they get five stars from me for sticking to their principles and offering homemade products that are not tested on animals. Lush even advertises this fact on their bags and gave me a postcard stating that for 30 years their founders have been "creating cruelty-free products and actively fighting animal testing." Lush also makes sure that none of their raw materials are tested on animals either. I bought some face cleanser made by Sarah, and a birthday gift for a friend. The sales people were very helpful and seemed to really love the products.

Before Lush I was opposed to taking baths.. sure I shower regularly but baths? I have to confess.. I am hooked. The Happy Pill rocks my world and you can get a couple of baths out of it for only $5.70.. also! There is a list of all the item's Ingredients right under it so fear not if you have allergies.. I have a severe nut allergy so I need to avoid a couple of things. Also - the Newbury St staff are surprisingly friendly and helpful.. I went here with my cousin who talked to them about her need for a good mental free deodorant.. Even I thought it was a weird conversation but they totally gave her a hand! (-: Thank you Lush!
